Installing MPP Virtual Appliance
Solution
The MPP Virtual Appliance is the easiest way to evaluate MPP with all of it's capabilities. All you need is VMWare Server, Player, Fusion or Enterprise products and our virtual appliance and in 30 minutes or less you will have a fully functional email gateway that will filter spam and archive email. After download we have a simple setup script that will configure all important aspects of MPP and operating system, no knowledge of the underlying operating system is required for most installations.
Basic installation steps are here:
1) Download and unpack MPP Virtual Appliance
2) Add MPP as virtual appliance under VMWare
3) Run /usr/local/sbin/mppappconf and answer basic
4) Move MX Record and MPP will be filtering and archiving your email.
We've made all the recommended presets and configured all the bells and whistles. You can run all plug-ins during your trial of MPP, regardless of your host operating system, and you can even run our appliance on the same server as your email server.
