Understanding Message Tracking
Solution
Message tracking records the processing status of a message in a MySQL database. Each phase of message processing can be tracked including parse, relay, scanning, results, archive and more. Message can be searched by result, IP address, sender, receiver, messageid and much more. We provide a basic interface into tracking stats within MPP GUI but you are free to develop your own as well.
The SQL code for the message tracking database can be found here:
ftp://ftp.messagepartners.com/pub/mpp4/sql/mail_tracking-mysql.sql
To enable message tracking first create the database using the SQL code from above. We recommend seperating the tracking database from quarantine or archive databases.  In MPP GUI you can set the tracking levels of various processing stages in Advanced-Message Tracking->Message Tracking Setup.
