Mailspect MPP / MPP Manager installation from APT repository on Debian/Ubuntu
We are pleased to have our own APT repository for mppd, the core component of Mailspect. It is now possible to install mpp and mppmanager on your Ubuntu or Debian system using the great APT tool.Â
Supported distributions:
Debian 4.0 Etch
Debian 5.0 Lenny
Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper
Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy
Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty
Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy
Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy
Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid
Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty
Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic
Before installing MPP on Debian/Ubuntu please download GPG key for apt-get:
curl
http://apt.mailspect.com/ovidiu@mailspect.com.gpg.key
| sudo apt-key add -
Add MPP Repository to ATP sources list:
echo "debÂ
http://apt.mailspect.com/Â Â Â
mpp-testing non-free" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mpp.list
Install MPP:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mpp
Run Configure Script if this is the first time installing mppd on your server
sudo /usr/local/MPP/scripts/configure.pl
Install MPP Manager:
sudo apt-get install mppmanager
