MPP Manager Installation
MPP Manager Installation
Solution
You can download the most up to the minute at
ftp://ftp.messagepartners.com/pub/mppmanager/beta/
basic steps are:
tar -zxvf mppserver-xx.tar.gz
cd mppserver
./setup.pl
2 apps are installed:
Configure mppd on http://yourserver:20001
Access email archives http://yourserver:20000
The apps read your mppd.conf.xml file and set most things automatically, however, you should still configure at least one domain and a default domain for authentication and statically configure your default Archive and Spam Quarantine URI's in Setup->Module Config.
We have tried to include all Perl modules in our install, but there are still some requirements:
GD::Graph and libgd (not a perl module)
DBI
It is highly recommened to install these from your OS install tools like yum, yast or up2date, or at least from cpan.
You will also need libexpat installed on your system, if you see error messages about this, you can install from here:
ftp://ftp.messagepartners.com/pub/expat/expat-2.0.1.tar.gz
tar -zxvf expat-2.0.1.tar.gz
cd expat-2.01
./configure
make
make install
